Tanya Petrovna
Chef & Founder

Tanya is the dynamo behind Native Foods! Without Tanya, the world would be a blander place. Native Foods’ roots are firmly grounded in the gourmet world, and the Native Foods concept is Chef Tanya’s love-child. Tanya merged her education as a biology major with her desire to end animal cruelty and her interests in environmental issues, health, vegan / vegetarian nutrition, her love of cooking and her desire to feed the world. Tanya is convinced that the world could benefit from adopting a cruelty-free lifestyle – all that has been lacking is a little (or a lot!) of education.

Native Foods is Tanya’s fun way of fusing together her childhood love of animals, science, her passion for delicious food and the desire to make the world a better place. Native Foods is successful due to her exuberance, dedication, tenacity – and downright infectious good nature!
