As part of our mission, Native Foods supports global and community causes that (1) promote compassion to all living things; (2) provide for a healthier planet (e.g., protecting the environment, promoting sustainability and recycling programs); and (3) provide healthier food options for everyone.

In addition to sponsoring events, Native Foods also regularly makes contributions to organizations aligned with our mission. The most recent organization to receive our support is the Surfrider Foundation, an environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches, through conservation, activism, research and education.

Previous Donation Recipients

The Pacific Marine Mammal Center, is an organization dedicated to rescuing, treating, rehabilitating and releasing ill or injured marine mammals stranded along Southern California Beaches. The PMMC also aims to increase public awareness surrounding the marine environment through education and research.

The Elephant Sanctuary is a group of folks determined to educate the world as to the sensitive nature of elephants and release them from captivity.

Animal Acres is a farmed animal sanctuary and compassionate living center located in Southern California. The Animal Acres staff and volunteers are motivated, hard-working, fun-loving people dedicated to the rescue and care of farm animals.

The Farm Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and provides lifelong care for hundreds of animals rescued from factory farms, stockyards and slaughterhouses. One of the first organizations of it's type, Farm Sanctuary deserves a hand - and a pair of help-ing hands as well!

Animals, People, and Environment Action (APe Action) is dedicated to building a more compassionate world - by promoting ethical and moral values with respect to animals, people and the environment. APe programs run the gamut - everything from recycling to animal rescue to their Foster Child Dream Program. These are some involved folks!

Yoga Angels is dedicated to teaching, inspiring and empowering children through the art and philosophy of yoga. Providing programs for kids, tweens and teens, Yoga Angels classes are a proactive program that helps channel young people into productive pursuits.

Your Kids Organization teaches our youth to honor each other, and each other's contribution. By strengthening from within, YKO attemps to steer youths towards becoming responsible, open-minded, contributing members of society.

KCRW Public Radio Station is a community service of Santa Monica College and is Southern California's leading National Public Radio affiliate, featuring an eclectic mix of music, news, information and cultural programming.
